To take the steering box from your bus you need to remove the pitmann (or steering box drop) arm.
To do so you will need a special designed tool. 

Without this tool chances are big you must cut the steering drop arm off....
...or hammer it till death.

Brand new pittmann/steering drop arms for split and bay window buses available from our shelves.

We used the casting from late model Brazilian bus,
to machine with two different spline tools, 

Early bay and split use the same splines.
T2b late bay window use a slightly larger diameter.

Same time we launch the steering drop arm for late Brazilian bus T2c.
T2c is the same diameter as a T2b except it has a notch.

Making our own pedals for split bus forced us to make the bushings.

We updated our bushing sets for correct application. 
So, we get the years more correct.

After necessary research and testing,
 we confirm Type 14 & Type 34 Karmann Ghia can use the same door seals.

The only difference is Type 14 door seals have originally two cut outs at the lower side.
Type 34 does not have these cut outs.

All the rest is the same as two bottles of Coca-Cola.
This means you can use our Type 14 door seals perfectly on your Type 34.
