Patina Extreme!

Straight from the Swedish barns, pretty high North, 650 kms up North from Stockholm, Swedish capital to be exactly..

This kind a cool patina oval window is a top of the bill! 

Nice and straight, and especially looking “old” the right way! Don’t polish, don’t clean, its work of mother nature, fix the mechanics, detail and drive it, this car can bring joy to many! Need some attention underneath, nothing bad, but we have to mention….

The roof rack is coming along as a gift, it sat so long on the car, so for us its part of its heritage…

The oval window is the most pure automobile lines ever created, the forms just fit all bills!

Inside its still very original, being a pre 55 model You still have all early parts inside, ribbed doors, and early style seats. The driver seat however, was changed long long time ago, more then likely for more drivers comfort, but we do have another all correct interior in very good shape we can sell along, not only You will have all correct seats, You will have spares to in case something happen and You should need original all correct material…

Look at this all pristine headliner… almost sixty years old, you shouldn’t tell, do you?

Correct Batwing steering wheel with a totally unmolested dashboard, get a peek view from the period accessory Okrasa accelerator pedal, the beautiful all original carpeting and the accessory storage basket over the middle tunnel….

Believe me they don’t come any better….

Front trunk with original trunk liner, how many cars still around with their original trunk liner close to 60 years old?

Engine is a correct 30DinHp (that’s 36SAE) but not matching numbers… check also on original firewall insulation….

Original heart taillights still in place! Never replaced or upgraded to later styles, a specialty on its own!

Rear valence uncut all original, this car had a single tip exhaust for its whole life!

Untouched, driven, and stored, that’s it… They do not come any more original as this, the ultimate “Oldtimer”. Also Swedish barns dry out big time, we can’t come up that often anymore with the cool stuff. But with this car our BBT hunters went far and above, so original is a real gem to find in 2014!

This T2a early bay window Westfalia tick all boxes if you’re on the look out for a nice restoration candidate, the interior is still beautiful, the body is good, except for some parts of the rear rockers, and the most important, its completely untouched!

Besides the nose this is all original factory paint, nothing we could hide or camouflage!

The end of the rockers needs replacement, but all the rest looks very decent and solid to us!

The “weak” spots for most bay window buses are still in great shape on this one..

and another shot of the cool interior… we miss the keys at this point to open tailgate or sliding door, something we can solve for a small additional cost, or leave it up to the buyer in the “Take me Away” price…

Engine bay nice and complete, exactly like we like so much to find them… engine runs, brakes needs a gone through…
