In general the parallel chassis section with Type 1 buses are strong and resistant, though it might happen that a severe collision or corrosion can harm the chassis section thoroughly. Replacement will be necessary. From now on BBT has a solid part of this chassis section available which goes from the rear to the front wheel space just behind the front axle, where it can be put together near the original welding seam.
