Ferret show last weekend, "the Super VW National" organized and
hosted by the French Super VW magazine, the location is perfect as by many
called a little piece of California in Europe and the showground's are better
to none! Near the ocean means You can take your surf gear! The VW Drag day
on Saturday was on the race track of Merignac near Bordeaux, this was back
to the good atmospheres of Orange County raceway! It was way to cool with
about 1300 Aircooled VW's showing up! For me the highlight was definitely
the invitation from the Super VW Staff to enjoy dinner with Bruce Meyers
(inventor of the Buggy) and many other authorities from European VW only
magazines a special thanks go to Jacky and Kathy Morell, Julien David Collombet
and all the rest of the Super VW magazine staff for their great organization! |
